Pattern Name:Swirls and Stars

For over 1000 years handmade paper has been produced in the mountainous area of Nepal. Hand dyed and hand printed in Kathmandu. Each sheet measures 75cm x 50cm and weighs 30gsm. Lokta is naturally very strong and resistant to damage. Use… Its use is not just limited to crafts ( collages, mixed media, decorative book-binding, scrap-booking, calligraphy, printmaking ) but it would be a fantastic eco-friendly alternative to gift wrapping your special presents or simply as eco friendly packaging. Please note as the paper is peeled off a wooden frame by hand the sizes of the sheets will inevitably vary, on average they measure 75cm x 50cm, however some may be smaller some may be bigger, they are perfectly imperfect :)
